THE BC STUDENT FILM FESTIVAL
The British Columbia Student Film Festival is an event organized by film and media teachers around the province to recognize the exceptional student filmmakers and directors in BC. The BCSFF is a celebration of growing talent and is open to students from grades 8-12.
Students can submit entries in various categories and age groups, and the submissions will be judged by industry professionals and/or festival alumni.
Nominations will be given for up to 5 films in each category. In addition, there are overall age group awards and film crafts awards, as well as best overall student filmmaker. The award-winning films will be screened at the festival itself, and the awards will be presented at the festival gala.
