REGISTRATION FOR THE 2025 FESTIVAL WORKSHOPS IS NOW OPEN

Step 1: Have your students check out our workshop descriptions.

Step 2: Download and fill out the registration form. Click here for the PDF.

​

Step 3: Once the form is filled out, email it to bcstudentfilmfestival@gmail.com Do not physically mail (ie. Canada Post) the registration form as we may not receive it in time and your students may not get registered.

Step 4: Pay the registration fees. Payment can be made via PayPal, e-transfer or by cheque.

• E-transfer: Use bcstudentfilmfestival@gmail.com to send your transfer. If there is a security question, please email us separately with the answer.

• Cheque: Make cheques payable to "BC Media Educators/BCSFF" and mail to Riverside Secondary, Attention: Mike Schoenhals, 2215 ReeveStreet, Port Coquitlam, BC, V3C 6K8

Step 5: Attend the workshops and festival!

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION - PLEASE READ

Pricing for 2025 is as follows: 2-Day $80 | Friday-only $60 | Saturday-only $20

​

Lunch is only included on Friday. Snacks are provided both days.

​

Not all workshops are offered in every time slot. Please see our Workshops page for details.

 

We will do our best to put students in their first workshop choices. Sometimes, this means that students might not be registered for a workshop in their desired time slot.

 

Space is limited, so if a student's first choice is unavailable, we will put the student in the next available spot or in their backup option. We appreciate your understanding.

Workshop attendees  and teachers/chaperones are automatically RSVP'd to the Awards Gala and DO NOT need to reserve a seat.

 

Screening and Awards Gala Attendance for non-delegates (ie. parents, guardians, guests, friends): Anyone wishing to attend the Awards Ceremony and Film Screenings ONLY may do so free of charge, however, you must still RSVP to reserve your spot.

Transportation and Accommodation: Students/schools are required to organize their own transportation to festival venues and accommodation if staying overnight.

 

Teacher Workshops: Teachers are welcome and encouraged to attend the workshops with the students.

​

Please note that it is the responsibility of teachers to obtain permission forms for delegates.
